Asus is bringing its first foldable laptop in India, the ZenBook 17 Fold OLED. The foldable laptop in India is set to launch in India next month on November 10. Gone are the days when foldable technology was only limited to smartphones only, India is now getting its first commercially available foldable laptop in India. The foldable laptop was first showcased in January 2022 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022.

Asus has started taking pre-orders for the same and will allow users to book it till November 9. After which, it will start the deliveries of those laptops. Asus ZenBook 17 Fold is the world’s first 17.3-inch foldable laptop with an OLED screen. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Asus ZenBook 17 Fold Price in India and Availability

The Asus ZenBook 17 Fold will be available in India for Rs 3,29,990. As a pre-order offer, the company is offering the laptop at an effective price of Rs 2,84,290. This price includes the various offers such as exchange and card discounts that Asus is bundling with the foldable laptop. 

Buyers who will pre-order the ZenBook 17 Fold will get extra gifts worth Rs 32,100. Asus is offering three year warranty plus 1-year accidental damage plan and a 500GB external SSD for free. The Asus ZenBook 17 Fold can be pre-ordered from Asus official website.

Asus ZenBook 17 Fold Specifications


The Asus ZenBook 17 OLED features a single, 4:3 OLED display that is 17.3 inches long and comes with a 2.5K screen resolution. The laptop display can be folded down from the middle to separate it into two different screens, two 3:2, full HD displays, each measuring 12.5 inches in size. It has a 180-degree hinge, and ships with a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad combo if the on-screen keyboard isn’t quite your thing. The display is Pantone, Dolby Vision and TUV Rheinland certified, which is marketing speak for assuring you of its quality.

The foldable laptop includes 12th gen Intel Core i7 processors, Iris Xe integrated graphics, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. There are two USB-C Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, which also double up to offer fast charging for its 75Whr battery. There’s also an infrared camera for user detection, a colour sensor for auto screen calibration, and a 5MP webcam for sharper video conferencing.
