Apple might launch new Beats wireless earbuds soon. The company is expected to launch a new pair of truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds called the Beats Studio Buds+ in the coming weeks. At the moment, the company has not confirmed any details about the launch of the new Beats earbuds. However, the launch seems imminent as the TWS earbuds have cleared the IMDA certification. The new Studio Buds+ is expected to be an upgraded version of the Studio Buds, which was launched in 2021.

Apple is yet to announce any details about the earbuds. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the Beats Studio Buds+ listing on the IMDA certification website along with the details revealed so far.

Apple Beats Studio Buds+ Might Launch Soon

The Apple Beats Studio Buds+ is likely to debut as a new pair of premium TWS earbuds from Apple soon. The earbuds have cleared the IMDA certification website. The listing on IMDA suggests that the launch is not far. According to the listing, the earbuds have the model numbers A2872 and A2871.

The upcoming Beats earbuds were spotted on the FCC website ahead of launch. The listing was spotted by Twitter user Aaron. In addition to this, the Buds+ was also spotted in the internal files of iOS 16.4 by 9to5Mac.

Based on the source code, Studio Buds+ will support audio sharing, automatic device switching, and “Hey Siri.” There will be a dedicated Beats chip, similar to what we see in Apple’s audio products like AirPods Pro.

The use of a custom Beats chip means that users might miss out on some of the useful features of AirPods and AirPods Pro, as well as Powerbeats Pro. However, it allows the Beats Studio Buds+ to work on both Android and iOS devices.

The Buds+ is likely to feature support for media controls for play/pause. There might also be the option to press and hold to switch between various noise-cancelling modes. The earbuds are also expected to launch in a new black colour option with gold details on it.
