There is no word on the BGMI iOS app at the moment. Meanwhile, players can gear up for the BGMI Season 20 which will roll out on July 14. The new season is bringing many new features and changes. Krafton had previously also confirmed that it is bringing back eSports tournaments in BGMI very soon. The official website has a dedicated microsite for eSports tournaments. Battlegrounds Mobile India eSports tournament could kick off in some days. Ahead of the announcement, some key details have leaked. According to a report from Gamzo, the developers will make key announcements around the tournament on July 15. The first BGMI tournament will kick off on August 2 with in-game qualifiers and multiple online qualifiers. The report states that the BGMI tournament will be hosted for two months and is expected to end by the second week of October. Players need to be on the Platinum tier at least to participate in the tournament.

Krafton will announce a prize pool of Rs 1 crore. The winners will get the maximum share of Rs 50 lakh. Players who win the second and third spots will win Rs 25 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively. Individual performances will also get rewarded.
