The much anticipated FPS mobile game from Activision, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is all set to launch globally on March 21, 2024, for iOS and Android users. After being available with a limited release in select countries over the past year, the game is finally coming to mobile.
Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Official Release Date
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be available as a free-to-play title. The game will feature Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps at the launch. In Verdansk, if you are eliminated, you will have a chance to return to the battle by winning a 1v1 duel in the Gulag. Unlike Verdansk, players can respawn as long as at least one teammate remains alive, eliminating the need for the Gulag.
Since its September 2022 announcement, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been eagerly anticipated by fans. While access has been limited, early testers have helped spread the word about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, generating significant buzz with reports of console-quality graphics on mobile devices.
Activision has also confirmed that Warzone Mobile will feature some classic COD multiplayer maps and modes. These include Shipment, Scrapyard, and Shoot House, which will be available for game modes like Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination, among other multiplayer Call of Duty modes.
Another major thing to note about this mobile game is the shared progression with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on PC and console. Your level, unlocks, and Battle Pass progress will be the same across all three games, as long as you use the same Activision ID. Plus, most of the store bundles you bought in the other games will be available in Warzone Mobile, promoting a unified Call of Duty experience regardless of platform.
The game has been made available in select countries like Australia, Chile, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Malaysia, as part of a limited-release early access program for over a year. This period allowed Activision to gather valuable player feedback, address bugs, and optimize the game for a smooth launch, ensuring the best possible experience for players worldwide.
The game’s pre-registrations are underway and Activision has confirmed that more than 50 million players have pre-registered for the game. For pre-registered users, the following special rewards will be given upon worldwide launch:

- Foes Flame Vinyl
- Dark Familiar Emblem
It remains to be seen if Warzone Mobile lives up to its potential. Given the success of COD Mobile with 100 million downloads, Warzone Mobile aims to be Activision’s next mobile juggernaut.
