It was originally planned for a release by the end of 2023 but due to unknown reasons, fans had to wait for longer. Death Stranding Director’s Cut will run natively on all supported Apple devices including iPhone and iPad. It offers optimized visual fidelity powered by features like MetalFX Upscaling. Players will get to play as Sam Bridges in the post-apocalyptic world of the United States. He is a courier whose job is to port supplies across different cities of the world suffering from a mysterious event called Death Stranding. This event has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society. The game is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows.

The App Store description page mentions Death Stranding will support high frame rates and photo mode on iOS. The game supports both on-screen touch controls and wireless Bluetooth controllers. One important thing to note is that it is a hefty download with a total of 77GB size.
