Google is rumoured to launch three new Pixel smartphones later this year. The search engine tech giant is rumoured to debut the Pixel 6a 5G later this year. Following the launch of its affordable Pixel, the company is said to launch the Google Pixel 7 series in the US and other markets. Two new Pixel 7 series smartphones are expected to debut later this year. These include the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

The devices will debut as a successor of the Pixel 6 series, which, unfortunately, did not make it to India. There is no official word on the launch of the Pixel 7 series. While we wait for that, a new leak has revealed the camera specs of the Pixel 7 series. Let’s take a look at the Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro specifications, features and other leaked details.

Google Pixel 7 Series Camera Specifications Leaked

Google Pixel 7 series is expected to launch in October 2022. Ahead of the official launch, some key camera specifications of the upcoming Google smartphones have leaked online. Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the key specs of the Pixel 7 series. The tipster claims that the devices will come with the same camera specs as the currently available model. This means that the vanilla 7 will come with a dual-camera setup. There will be a 50MP main camera sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera sensor. The Pro model, on the other hand, will come with a triple-camera setup. It will have a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a 48MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

Brar further states that the sensors will be optimised for the new devices but a majority of the processing will be taken care of by the software.

Some other details of the devices have leaked in the past. Analyst Ross Young claimed that the Pixel 7 series will come with a 6.3-inch screen display, whereas the 7 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch panel.

Design renders of both devices have leaked in the past. Both devices will come with a horizontal camera strip. The devices will also sport an AMOLED display and come with a high refresh rate support. The vanilla 7 will come with a 90Hz display, whereas the 7 Pro will come with a 120Hz high refresh rate support.
