Google I/O 2023 kicks off on May 10. During the upcoming annual developer event, the search engine giant is set to unveil its latest Android 14 software update. Google is also likely to launch a bunch of hardware products at the upcoming I/O. The company has not confirmed the details or the list of products launching at I/O 2023. However, thanks to the rumour mill, we pretty much know what will be in store. Adding to the development is a new leak by tipster Evan Blass, aka EvLeaks. The tipster has now shared an image of the upcoming Google Pixel Tablet.

The Pixel Tablet was teased last year alongside the Pixel 7 series. However, at the time, Google did not reveal many details about the tablet. It looks like the company will finally launch its new Pixel tab later this month. Let’s take a look at the Google Pixel Tablet specifications, design and other details known so far.

Google Pixel Tablet: What the Front Might Look Like According to Leaks

The Google Pixel Tablet is likely a premium tablet offering for the US and some other markets. It is unknown if the tablet will launch in India. Google is expected to share some details about the same soon after I/O 2023. Meanwhile, Blass has shared the front design of the Pixel tablet. The image shows that the Pixel Tablet has slightly thick bezels around the display. We see the front camera on the right bezel of the tablet when held vertically. Since Google wants people to use the tablet with a dock as well, the positioning of the front camera is quite accurate as it can also help with video calls.

While the bezels around the display are white, the frame seems to have a beige colour. There seems to be a USB Type-C port and two cutouts for the speaker grille.

Google, at the preview last year, revealed another colour option for the Pixel tab with black bezels around the display. This colour option is likely to have a green rear panel and frame. The Pixel Tablet is rumoured to launch in four colours. The Google tablet will have an aluminium body made of recycled materials with a nano-ceramic finish akin to porcelain. The rear panel has a single camera sensor

The Pixel tab can be magnetically attached to a speaker dock so that it can be used as a “Home” device. There are pogo pins and magnets on the dock, which help it attach the tablet to it easily. The speaker dock, which can also charge the tablet, can be used to watch slideshows of photos from Google Photos or even watch videos.

Some other details about the Pixel tablet have leaked as well. The Google Android tablet will also feature the company’s Tensor G2 SoC under the hood. The tablet is tipped to sport a 10.95-inch display with a 1600 x 2560-pixel resolution. While the battery capacity is unknown, the Pixel tablet is said to offer 18W fast charging support. The tablet will likely feature an 8MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.

It will run Android 13 out of the box. The Pixel tab will feature at least 8GB of RAM and launch with two storage options. The base 128GB variant of the Pixel tab will reportedly be priced between EUR 600-650 (roughly Rs 54,100- Rs 58,600). What are your thoughts about the upcoming Pixel tablet?
