- Google Pixel Tablet will launch with two storage options.
- The Pixel tab is expected to be launched at I/O 2023.
- It might feature a Tensor G2 SoC.
Google, last year, previewed the Pixel Tablet at its I/O event. At the time, the company gave a glimpse of the tablet’s design without revealing any key details about the hardware under the hood. However, thanks to the rumour mill, a lot about the Pixel tab has leaked online. Google is likely to announce the specifications of its upcoming Android tablet at the I/O 2023 event on May 10. Ahead of the official announcement, a new leak has revealed the price and storage options of the Google Pixel Tablet.
According to the new leak by tipster Roland Quandt, the upcoming Pixel tab will be available in two storage options. Let’s take a look at the leaked Google Pixel Tablet price, specifications and other details known so far.
Here’s How Much the Google Pixel Tablet Might Cost
The Google Pixel Tablet is said to be launched in the US and other markets in two storage options. The base model of the tablet will offer 128GB of storage. There will be a 256GB storage option for the Pixel tab as well. According to Quandt, the Pixel Tab will have a starting price ranging between EUR 600-650 (roughly Rs 54,000- Rs 58,500) in Europe. The leaked price is certainly quite premium. However, considering how most phone and electronics are priced higher in Europe due to local taxes, the Pixel Tab could be priced slightly lower in Asian markets, provided it is launched outside US and Europe.
In addition to the above details, the tipster further revealed that the Pixel tab will launch in Porcelain or Haze colour options.
A record report revealed that the Google Pixel tab will launch with 8GB of RAM as standard. It is said to be available in four colour options. Google has showcased the green and white colour options already. We do expect a black or grey colour option to be available in various markets.
The Pixel tab is likely to feature Google’s new Tensor G2 SoC, which is found in the flagship Pixel 7 series. The tablet will also boot Android 13 out of the box.
At the time of the preview, Google did not reveal the screen size of the Pixel Tablet. However, the teasers did reveal that there are fairly thick bezels around the display. Depending on the colour option you choose, you are likely to get white or black-coloured bezels around the display.
The company has revealed that the Pixel Tab will have support for a speaker dock, which can be attached magnetically. The pogo pins at the bottom of the tab also help it attach easily to the dock while ensuring it remains charged 24×7. The docking station will be available as a separate accessory and is tipped to have a price tag of EUR 129 (roughly Rs 11,600).
Some other details about the Google tablet have leaked as well. It is likely to feature a 10.95-inch display with a 1600 x 2560-pixel resolution. It will offer 18W charging support. The Pixel tab will feature 8MP Sony IMX355 sensors on the front and back.
