GTA Online has a New Story with Franklin, Dr. Dre and His Friends

The update will be live on December 15.

Franklin Clinton makes his way back into Grand Theft Auto as part of GTA Online’s newest story, the Contract. Franklin will be flanked by Lamar Davis, who has been a regular in Grand Theft Auto Online. However, perhaps the biggest shake-up in GTA Online history is the introduction of Dr Dre as a main character, alongside Anderson Paak and DJ Pooh.

GTA Online: The Contract will feature a new adventure with Franklin Clinton, Dr Dre, plus new music from the West Coast legend. The Contract will be available in the game from December 15, and follows the story of Franklin’s new “celebrity solutions agency” – F. Clinton and Partner, catering to the Vinewood elite in need of solutions to high-society problems.

The player, as the Grand Theft Auto Online protagonist will partner up with Franklin to land the firm’s biggest client to date – Dr Dre. The artist made a brief appearance in GTA Online as part of the Cayo Perico Heist, wherein he lost a flash drive containing new music, which F. Clinton and Partner will likely be tasked to recover.

Joining Dr Dre will be one-half of Silk Sonic, Oxnard artist Anderson Paak. The Contract, along with a hilarious new story, will also introduce new weapons, vehicles, and properties in the game such as the Compact EMP Launcher, the Enus Jubilee, and The Agency.

GTA Online will also get a new radio station featuring ‘very special’ guest hots and a huge first-of-their-kind updates to existing radio stations. These updates include exclusive tracks from Dr Dre and other major artists. The Contract will allow players to pick up additional agency work that requires them to ‘get their hands dirty’.
