As a child, Venkata Ramana (Mahesh) loses the love and affection of his mother. While his father, Jayram, is imprisoned, his mother, Ramya Krishnan, gets married and moves out of his life. When his mother becomes a minister, Ramana receives a call. His grandfather makes him sign a document indicating that he has no interest in any of her possessions or money. Does Ramana have to sign it? Why had his mother abandoned him? What does his grandfather want him to do? Will the mother and son end up together? The rest of the story unravels this mystery.
