HMD’s Upcoming Repairable Smartphone

The Finnish brand has shared a teaser about the launch of the forthcoming HMD repairable smartphone through its social handles. The teaser confirms that the smartphones will launch in Black and Pink colourways. The upcoming HMD-branded repairable smartphone is also expected to debut in more shades. HMD reveals a glimpse of the camera island with the teasers and confirms the presence of a 108MP primary camera.

It is also revealed that the repairable smartphone will go official in July. A report from Nokiamob suggests that HMD might market the smartphone under the Fusion or Legend moniker. The rear of the smartphone will be made of polycarbonate plastic.

The teasers hint that the device will sport rounded corners and polished aluminium on the corners. HMD previously confirmed at the MWC 2024 event that the steps required to fix the screen would be considerably less than other smartphones. The brand has revealed that users can replace the screen at their doorsteps after the arrival of spare parts.

HMD will also introduce an HMD-branded Barbie Flip smartphone, which is set to hit the market in May. We can also expect a smartphone with hardware customisation, allowing customers can choose the phone’s shell that matches the user’s needs. Additionally, the company has revealed that it will continue to make Nokia-branded phones, which should also arrive this summer.
