The once Huawei-owned HONOR brand may have more or less stopped selling smartphones in India, but the company hasn’t stopped doing business in China yet. The company launched the HONOR Pad V7 tablet in China today, which is evidently a toned down version of the HONOR Pad V7 Pro that had been launched last month. The new tablet seems like more of a mid-range device, though it does have some pretty decent features and specifications. It’s unlikely to make it to India, given that HONOR hasn’t launched any new devices in the country in a long time now.

HONOR Pad V7 specs and features

On the specs front, the Honor Pad V7 has a 10.4 inch WUXGA display with 2000×1200 pixel resolution. The display also has 90Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10 playback. The device is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 900T chipset, which has two ARM Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz. It is a 6nm processor and has the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU inside.

Further, the HONOR Pad V7 will reportedly have 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, with both having LPDDR4x chips inside, and 128 GB storage. It will ship with Android 11 and HONOR’s in-house MagicUI 5.0 out of the box. The company claims that this bring support for over 4000 apps on the device.

The tablet also has a 13MP rear autofocus camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP shooter on the front of the device with f/2.2 aperture. It supports WiFi 6 connectivity, 4G LTE and has a 7250 mAh battery with 22.5 W fast charging. We don’t have claimed specs on how long the device will take to charge though.
