As per the details shared by the company, India is the first market where HP has started this program, and it aims to expand the same in other markets in 2024. This new initiative is aimed at providing affordable laptops to students, micro and small businesses, and freelancers.

HP’s Refurbished Program Will Operate In Subscription Model

The refurbished program will be operated in a subscription model, which will allow businesses to access the latest tech for 6, 12, and 24 months. The program’s initial focus will be on notebooks with a vision to expand and diversify its offering. The company says that its certified partner will source the devices from enterprise, and retail customers, and can refurbish them as per standards defined by HP. Post refurbishment, the partner will sell and provide comprehensive post-sale support, including a warranty.

Furthermore, the brand promises that every HP-certified refurbished device will undergo a rigorous refurbishment process ranging from memory enhancements to storage expansions, tailored to individual
preferences and requirements. The devices will be also tested extensively and inspected to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This effort will guarantee that every refurbished device meets stringent quality benchmarks.
