Huawei is gearing up to launch the successor of the MatePad Pro which was launched back in 2019. To those unaware, Huawei’s MatePad Pro tablets are built for productivity and these come with pen support. The MatePad Pro series devices go head to head against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S series tabs, and Apple iPad Pro. Earlier this morning, we spotted Huawei MatePad Pro 2 with model number WGR-AN19 on TENAA certification website. An interesting fact that TENAA listing has revealed is that the upcoming MatePad Pro 2 will boot home-grown HarmonyOS. The MatePad Pro 2 had earlier made an appearance on the 3C certification website revealing some of the specifications of the device. Let us take a look at the information revealed via TENAA listing, and what we know about the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 so far.

Huawei MatePad Pro 2 TENAA listing confirms that the devices will be equipped with 5G network support including NSA/NR SA networks. The TENAA listing also confirms that the upcoming MatePad Pro 2 will boot Android alternative – HarmonyOS. Huawei MatePad Pro 2: What we know so far?

The MatePad Pro 2 will come in two variants, one with a 12.2-inch screen, and the other with a 12.6-inch screen. The MatePad Pro 2 devices will feature OLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. These panels should be QHD+ resolution display similar to its predecessor. The upcoming tablet is said to feature Kirin 9000 processor under-the-hood, which is also 5G-ready.

Apart from it, the 3C listing had earlier revealed that the upcoming MatePad Pro 2 will feature 40W fast-charging support. Unfortunately, only this much is known about the MatePad Pro 2 in terms of the specifications. Rest assured, whenever it appears on a certification website, or there is leak surrounding it, we will update our reader.

Previously, reports suggested that Samsung will be the supplier for the display panels of the upcoming Huawei Tablets.
