It’s no secret that Huawei is preparing up for the launch of the Huawei P40 successor in the form of the Huawei P50 series. The devices in this new lineup are supposed to include the vanilla Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and the P50 Pro+. These handsets are in the news from the last couple of months, thanks to several new details that are emerging each passing day. In the latest development, we now have the detailed look at the Huawei P50 Pro coming, courtesy of popular leakster @onLeaks. The Huawei P50 Pro renders are now leaked out ahead of the official launch, which does showcase the handset in full glory. Huawei P50 Pro Renders Leaked

The Huawei P50 Pro reportedly is going to feature a 6.6-inch OLED display. If we have a closer look the renders, we can see that the device will adopt a metal frame and will have a flat edge at the top and bottom. The smartphone will have a glass-made rear panel. The device will feature a centered single punch-hole selfie camera and will have extremely thin bezels at the sides. The phone’s essential hallmark seems to be the rear-facing camera module which appears to be Humongous in shape. The detailed camera configuration of these rear sensors does remain unknown currently.

Dimensions-wise, the Huawei P50 Pro could measure at around 159x73x8.6mm (10.3mm with the rear camera bump). The smartphone is considered to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it will also have a dual speaker on the top and bottom frame. The handset will even feature an IR (Infrared Blaster) sensor which will let you control your other appliances like TVs, set-top boxes, and even air conditioners.

In a piece of related news, we are aware of the fact that the Huawei P50 series will make use of the Kirin 9000 chipset. The P50 lineup is even said to come with HarmonyOS pre-installed. Recently, a leak appeared on Weibo had mentioned that Huawei P50 has completed its testing on HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta 2 successfully, and is moving on to test the Beta 3. Past leak suggests us that the base P50 model will offer 66W wired fast charging, and a 50W wireless fast charging support.

Huawei had been launching its flagship P-series devices by the end of March if we go by the company’s past few launches. However, contradictory reports hint that Huawei has delayed the launch of the upcoming P50 series which is now considered to happen on April 17th.
