Infinix has launched several smartphones in the past couple of months and is now reportedly gearing up for the launch of another one. This time, the brand appears to be eyeing its Note lineup of smartphones and will launch the Infinix Note 8 smartphone, if our latest finding is to be believed. Today, we have spotted the Infinix Note 8 smartphone on the NBTC certification website, which confirms its moniker. The model number corresponding to the device has also been spotted on the Geekbench database website, which gives us a working clue as to what some of its specifications will be. Infinix Note 8 visits NBTC and Geekbench; key specifications revealed
As seen in the NBTC certification authority image, the Infinix Note 8 (with the model number Infinix X692) has recently been certified. The device will be a 4G handset. Other than the confirmation about the moniker of the device, the NBTC certification does not provide us with anything about its specifications and features. That said, as mentioned earlier, the device has also been spotted on the Geekbench database website.
As seen in the Geekbench database image, the Infinix Note 8 has managed to pull off 373 in the single-core test and 1,295 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the device is confirmed to boot the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Under the hood, the Infinix Note 8 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which will be coupled with 6GB of RAM. We can, however, expect the Infinix Note 8 to launch in other memory variants as well.
