iPhone 14 Pro Design Revealed in Alleged Live Images and Video Ahead of Far Out Apple Event

Apple will finally ditch the notch in favour of pill and hole-punch cutouts at the top centre for Face ID sensors and the front camera.

iPhone 14 launch event will be hosted on September 7. At the Far Out Apple event, the company is expected to launch four new iPhone models. These include the iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The Pro models are said to get major upgrades this year. Apple is said to finally ditch the notch in favour of pill and hole-punch cutouts at the top centre for Face ID sensors and the front camera.

This new design change, along with the larger camera module design, can be seen in an alleged live image of the iPhone 14 Pro. The live image shared by tipster Duan Rui shows that the pill-shaped cutout is on the left of the centrally aligned hole-punch cutout. The earpiece is on the top bezel, which was also the case with the iPhone 13 series.

A video on Weibo also revealed the new Purple colour option of the iPhone 14 Pro, which has a matte finish on the back. The camera module, like the previous Pro models, has a glossy finish. We can also see the frame sporting a purple finish. Apple is likely to use a stainless steel frame for the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max but rumours suggest that a stronger titanium frame could be used this time around.

We are only a few days away from the launch of the iPhone 14 series. While the leak comes from a renowned tipster, it is advised to take the leaked live images with a pinch of salt as it could be a dummy prototype of the phone.
