iQOO 11 Pro: Here’s When it Might Launch in India

iQOO 11 Pro specifications have leaked online in the past. A new report has now revealed the launch timeline of the iQOO flagship phone. GSM Arena claims that the iQOO 11 Pro will launch in India in January 2023. The exact launch date of the phone, as expected, is not known yet. iQOO is yet to announce the phone’s China launch date. Therefore, it is only fair that the India launch date details will remain under wraps for some more weeks. The report did not reveal any details about the launch of the regular model in India.

Some more details about the phone were revealed in the report. It claims that the 11 Pro will use Vivo’s V2 ISP, which is claimed to improve the phone’s lowlight video recording and portrait mode shots.

There will be a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display. iQOO will launch a BMW M Motorsports Edition of the phone, just like the iQOO 9T 5G and the iQOO 9 series in India. The phone is also said to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood, which will be unveiled soon.

Other details churned out by the rumour mill include some more display features, camera and battery specifications. The phone is said to sport a 2K resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate support. For biometrics, there will be an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It will sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The phone will also come with up to 12GB of RAM under the hood. There will be 256GB of internal storage at least. The company is also likely to launch a 512GB storage option in China.

For selfies, the phone is said to feature a 16MP front camera. The rear camera setup will include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 14.6MP telephoto camera. There will be a 4700mAh battery under the hood with support for 200W fast charging out of the box. The charging tech should refill the device’s battery from zero to 100 per cent in around 10 minutes. It will also support 50W wireless charging.

iQOO will launch the phone with Android 13 out of the box. The Chinese variant will have a layer of the latest Origin OS Ocean on top of Android, whereas in India, the phone will launch with Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
