Update: An image of the iQOO Neo 5 box has been leaked on Weibo. The retail box shows the charger and the phone. From the leaked image, it is confirmed that the iQOO Neo 5 will come with a 66W fast charger inside the box. The display will also have a hole-punch cutout. Additionally, the leakster Digital Chat Station said that the device will be charged fully in 30 minutes.

iQOO is gearing up for the launch of the iQOO 3 successor, known as the iQOO Neo 5 smartphone. The device is in the news from the last few weeks as it made an appearance on Google Play Console listing. We also have been hearing few specs of the Neo 5 as well from several sources, who also have predicted the possible launch of the device. Well, the iQOO Neo 5 now has gained the required 3C certification in China. The listing reveals the charging capabilities of the handset and even gives the idea that the launch of the phone is closer.
iQOO Neo 5 (V2055A) 3C Certified:
If we go by the 3C listing, we can see that the iQOO Neo 5 will have a 66W fast-charging support. The device carries the model number as V2055A, which matches with the one that was revealed by the Google Play Console listing. As far as the specs of this upcoming smartphone is concerned, it is expected to feature an AMOLED Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. The display might offer a 120Hz refresh rate with a screen density of 480ppi. Underneath, the Neo 5 might be powered by the new Snapdragon 870 SoC aided with Adreno 650 GPU. It is said to come with 8GB/12GB of RAM along with 128GB/256GB internal storage. On the software front, the Neo 5 is expected to run Android 11 out-of-the box with a custom UI.
The iQOO Neo 5 is said to feature triple rear-facing cameras. The main primary camera at the back is supposed to be of 48MP which might adopt in Sony IMX598 sensor. The other two sensors could be of 13MP + 2MP respectively. At the front, the smartphone is supposed to sport a single 16MP camera for selfies and video calling. The device might ship with a 4400mAh battery that will have a 66W fast-charging support as confirmed by 3C certification.
If the leaked pricing of the smartphone is to be considered, the Neo 5 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage model might cost around CNY 2998. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant is supposed to retail at CNY 3,298. The higher-end model of all with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage might be priced at CNY 3,598 in China.
