iQOO is preparing for the launch of the iQOO Neo 8 series smartphones. The upcoming iQOO Neo 8 lineup will likely include two devices: the iQOO 8 and the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. These devices are expected to launch in China in the coming weeks. The iQOO Neo 8 is rumoured to come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while the Neo 8 Pro might ship with an octa-core Dimensity 9200+ SoC. A couple of weeks back, the specifications for the Neo 8 Pro were revealed by Digital Chat Station now Weibo, besides this, the handset made an appearance on Geekbench as well. Now, in a recent development, the iQO Neo 8 Pro has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website. Apart from the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, Vivo’s upcoming S17 series smartphone, the Vivo S17e also has received the 3C certification.
iQOO Neo 8 Pro, Vivo S17e Receives 3C Certification
As per the 3C certification listing, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro (V2302A) will now offer 120W fast charging support. Additionally, the device will have 5G connectivity support. On the other hand, Vivo’s S17e (V2285A) will support 80W fast charging as per the 3C certification. It will also have 5G support, reveals the 3C certification listing. As far as the specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro model go, it is expected to come with an AMOLED display, which might offer Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device is expected to come with Dimensity 9200+ SoC. The handset might pack up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the phone is tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera sensor. On the software side of things, the iQOO Neo 8 series is expected to boot Android 13 OS out of the box. In a piece of related news, recently iQOO Neo 8 (V2301A) was also spotted on the 3C certification website. The listing revealed that the handset will offer up to 120W fast charging support. As far as the specifications of the vanilla iQOO 8 go, it is expected to come with a 6.67-inch display which might offer 120Hz refresh rate. The phone might pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. Similar to the iQOO Neo 8 Pro, the vanilla model also could feature a 50MP camera.
As of now, iQOO has not revealed the official launch date of the iQOO Neo 8 series yet. However, considering that these phones have started appearing on certifications, we can expect their launch to take place in the coming weeks.
