iQOO confirms the launch date of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphone.
The brand will debut the device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
The smartphone will also be available in a dual-tone variant with a leather finish.
iQOO has been sharing teasers for the launch of the upcoming Neo series smartphones for a while now. The Vivo-owned gaming-oriented smartphone brand recently confirmed that it will debut the iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India. iQOO launched the vanilla Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones in China at the end of December 2023. The Pro variant is now set to debut on February 22 in India. iQOO announced the launch date of the upcoming device via a new teaser dropped on X (formerly Twitter).
iQoo will likely debut the smartphone in an offline event, which will be live-streamed through the brand’s social handles. However, the teaser has not yet confirmed the event details.
The micro-site for the device is already live on Amazon India, confirming its availability. The phone will also be available via iQOO India’s online store. The micro-site also confirms iQOO will launch the Pro variant with a Qualcomm chipset in India.
In China, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. So India is getting a different chipset. The other specifications of the Neo 9 Pro are expected to remain the same. Here are the expected specifications of the upcoming Neo 9 Pro.
