A tipster recently revealed the launch timeline of the Neo 9 smartphone in India. Now iQOO India has started sharing teasers for the launch of the smartphone through a new teaser shared on X (formerly Twitter)

The teaser confirms that the Vivo-owned brand will debut the smartphones soon in India. iQOO notes that a “Big Drop” will soon enter the Indian market. The teaser confirms that iQOO will debut the dual-tone variant in India. A tipster previously divulged in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that iQOO will debut the smartphone in January in India.
The tipster claimed that the brand will debut the Neo 9 Pro smartphone under the iQOO Neo 9 moniker in India. However, iQOO will ship the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC owing to the trend of bringing Qualcomm smartphones in India. The upcoming smartphone is expected to go on sale through Amazon India, similar to other iQOO smartphones.
iQOO launched the Neo 9 smartphone in China at RMB 2,299 (approx. Rs 26,900), while the Neo 9 Pro launched at RMB 2,999 (approx. Rs 36,100). This price is for the 12GB+256GB storage version of both phones.
The company is expected to debut the Neo 9 smartphone with a similar configuration in the Indian market.iQOO might not debut the 512GB and 1TB storage variants in India. The iQoo smartphone will likely launch in the sub-Rs 35,000 segment to compete against other mid-range smartphones. The smartphone sports the Q1 Supercomputing chipset launched with the iQOO 12 5G (review) smartphone.
iQOO is expected to announce discounts on the existing iQOO Neo 7 and iQOO Neo 7 Pro smartphones before the upcoming launches. The company is yet to confirm the debut of the wearable products announced with Neo 9 series smartphones in China. iQOO may also launch the iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e at the upcoming event in India.
