iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 9 series smartphones in China on December 27. The iQOO Neo 9 series smartphones include the vanilla Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro. The company also launched the iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e at the China Neo 9 series launch event. iQOO is also tipped to debut the Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India with a different chipset in Q1 of 2024.
iQOO Watch, iQOO TWS 1e: Pricing, Availability
The iQOO Watch comes with eSIM and Bluetooth connectivity variants. The smartwatch is available in Hiroyu Black and Star Track Black colour options. The watch comes with soft rubber, genuine leather, and nylon woven straps. The Vivo-owned brand has priced the smartwatch at RMB 1,099 (approx. Rs 13,000) and RMB 1,299 (approx. 15,700).
The iQOO TWS 1e comes in Star Pearl Yellow and Mecha White colour options. The earbuds are priced at RMB 179 (approx. Rs 2,170) and currently retail for a discounted price of RMB 159 (approx. Rs 1,950). The smartwatch and TWS are already available for sale through various online retailers in China.
iQOO Watch: Features, Specifications
The smartwatch sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. It has a circular dial, functional rotating crown, and push button. The smartwatch is backed by a 505mAh battery with wired charging support. iQOO claims the smartwatch offers a battery backup of up to seven days.
The Bluetooth variant of the smartwatch sports Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC for enhanced connectivity. The smartwatch runs on Blue OS similar to the recently debuted smartwatches from Vivo. The eSIM and Bluetooth variants sport a speaker and microphone for calling. iQOO equips the device with an optical heart rate sensor, air pressure altitude sensor, and ambient light sensor.
iQOO Watch sports the capability to monitor heart rate continuously and measure blood oxygen level through the SpO2 sensor. The smartwatch can also monitor sleep and high altitudes. It comes with the ability to track 100 sports modes, female health, stress level, high noise detection, and more.
iQOO TWS 1e: Features, Specifications
iQOO equips the iQOO TWS 1e with 11mm drivers with intelligent Active Noise cancellation (ANC). The ANC can reduce the background noise during calls and media playback. The charging case has a dimension of 63 x 26.24 x 47.9 mm and weighs 43 grams. The earbuds sport an Apple AirPods Pro-inspired design with a dimension of 30.7 x 21.5 x 23.2 mm and weigh 4.4 grams each.
The iQOO TWS 1e feature Bluetooth 5.3 protocol for enhanced connectivity. iQOO also equips the device with DeepX 3.0 stereo, Monster Sound, and more support. The earbuds are rated with IP54 to protect from water splashes. iQOO claims the TWS will last around 44 hours on a single charge without ANC.
The iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e are expected to debut with the Neo 9 series smartphones in India.
