iQOO has launched the Z7 series in China. The company has launched two mid-range smartphones under the Z7 series in China. There is the top-end Z7 5G, which features a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC and 120W fast charging support. The phone also has a 120W refresh rate display and a 64MP dual-camera setup on the back. Alongside the Z7 5G, the company has also launched the Z7x. The new iQOO Z7x is a budget 5G smartphone. The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC under the hood.
The Z7x 5G packs a massive battery under the hood, bigger than the more premium Z7 5G. This also means that the phone is heavier than the vanilla model. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Z7x 5G price, specifications and other details revealed at the launch.
iQOO Z7x Price and Specifications
The iQOO Z7x is a new budget 5G smartphone offering from the company in China. The phone is available in three storage options. The base model of the phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is priced at CNY 1299 (roughly Rs 15,600). There is also an 8GB + 128GB storage option of the phone, which is priced at CNY 1399 (roughly Rs 16,800). The 8GB RAM variant can also be bought with 256GB of storage in China for CNY 1499 (roughly Rs 18,000).
The phone has been launched in three colours — Black, Orange and Blue. The Z7x 5G has a polycarbonate body and a plastic frame. It weighs about 205 grams and measures 164.63mm x 75.80mm x 9.10mm.

The Z7x 5G has a beefy 6000mAh battery under the hood. It supports 80W fast charging out of the box. The charging adapter is packed inside the box. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. The 6nm SoC also features an Adreno 619 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports storage expansion via a microSD card of up to 1TB.
On the back, the phone has a 6.64-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution and a 19.9:9 aspect ratio. It offers support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.
The Z7x 5G has an 8MP front camera sensor. On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The iQOO smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box. It has a layer of Origin OS 3 on top of Android. The phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support.
