From the dingy underbelly of the city, Japan, the infamous jewel thief, rises to legend. He swindles away Rs 200 crores of jewels from a corrupt politician with his deft fingers and crafty intellect, setting up an exciting game of cat and mouse with the police. Japan, who is always one step ahead, avoids arrest by using his skill at disguising himself and his familiarity with the city’s winding alleyways. He arrives and vanishes at will, like a phantom, leaving the cops perplexed and angry. Will Japan pull off his bold theft and make off with the jewels? Or will he eventually be apprehended and brought to justice by the police? The story centers around this only.
