Jio Cinema, the OTT division of Reliance Industries that up till now served as a content aggregator, is prepared to release a number of original films. The media and content division of Reliance Industries, Jio Studios, presented a sizable portfolio of 100 new titles. These titles will be a mixture of multilingual original films and web series. According to the brand, these films will soon be available on Jio Cinemas; some of them will have theatrical releases.
Jio Studios presented its future slate for India on Wednesday. It includes over 100 film and web series titles, including “Dunki,” which stars Shah Rukh Khan, an Amitabh Bachchan starter, as well as “Bhediya” and “Stree” sequels.
It has signed a production agreement with SVF Entertainment, a major player in Bengali cinema. The film titles on the slate cover action, drama, thriller, comedy, romance, biopics, horror, and musicals. They are intended for the Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, South, and Bhojpuri markets.
It has also announced partnerships with renowned directors such as Raj Kumar Hirani, Sooraj Barjatya, Dinesh Vijan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Aditya Dhar, Prakash Jha, Amar Kaushik, and Laxman Utekar.

Additionally, Jio Studios revealed a multi-film partnership with renowned Bengali producer SVF Entertainment. The actors Prosenjit Chatterjee, Mithun Chakraborty, and Jisshu Sengupta, as well as the filmmakers Dhrubo Banerjee, Raj Chakraborty, Anirban Bhattacharya, Srijit Mukherji, and Suman Ghosh, will all be featured in the next films from this cooperation.
