After dropping a teaser, Jio has launched new JioCinema ad-free plans for its Premium subscription. The OTT platform has introduced two Premium plans for users to stream content up to 4K resolution without any ads. JioCinema is also offering a limited-time discount of up to 51% on its premium subscription.
JioCinema Ad-Free Premium Plans: Details
The JioCinema ad-free Premium plan is priced at Rs 29 with a one-month validity (30 days). It can only be accessed on one device at a time and includes all Premium content on the platform.
The second plan is a Family subscription priced at Rs 89, which offers the same benefits and can be used on four devices simultaneously. This plan offers a validity of one month (30 days).
Note that these are introductory prices. After the first month, the regular JioCinema ad-free plan will cost you Rs 59 per month and the Family ad-free plan will cost you Rs 149/month. Jio has not announced any annual ad-free plans yet.
We couldn’t find the annual Rs 999 and the Rs 99 monthly plans on the JioCinema website. Jio has not clarified if the existing subscribers of JioCinema Premium will be upgraded to the ad-free tier. We reached out to Jio for a confirmation and a response is still awaited.
The ad-free subscription of JioCinema Premium will only remove ads from movies, TV shows, web series, and other regular content. It does not get rid of ads in sports streaming and Live TV. Hence, you will continue to see ads while streaming the ongoing IPL 2024 or any other live content.
JioCinema Premium is available for all users, even if you don’t have a Jio SIM. You can subscribe through the official JioCinema app on Android and iOS or from the JioCinema website.
