Lava Storm 5G: What We Know So Far
The Lava Storm 5G will debut on December 21 in the Indian market and will be available exclusively via Amazon. A micro-site has also gone live on the e-commerce portal but it doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming handset. The teaser shared by Lava on X (formerly Twitter) reveals the Lava Blaze 5G first look. As seen in the teaser, the Lava Storm 5G will arrive in a shade of green.
The Lava Storm 5G appears to have a flat edge design. The handset might offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which we can expect to double as the power button. The handset will offer a dual-rear camera setup on the back which will be supported by an LED flash.
Previously, a tipster claimed that the Lava Storm 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. The Dimensity 6100+ is a entry-level 5G-enabled SoC which powers the Realme C67 5G and the Redmi 13C 5G. The system on chip includes 2 × Cortex-A76 performance cores (clocked at 2.2GHz) and 6 × Cortex A55 efficiency cores (clocked at 2.0GHz). It also comes with an integrated Mali G57 GPU.
