Xiaomi appears to be prepping up to introduce a new budget handset – the Redmi 13. We have spotted the upcoming Redmi 13 on Indonesia’s Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) certification database. Take a look at the details.

Xiaomi Redmi 13 Might Debut Soon

The Redmi 13 SDPPI certification revealed its model number – 24040RN64Y. This appears to be the global variant of the handset. The listing doesn’t reveal anything new in terms of the specifications. However, since the handset has picked up one more certification, we can expect it to debut soon.

Earlier, the Redmi 13 acquired Singapore’s IMDA, FCC, and EEC certifications. As per the FCC certification listing, the upcoming Redmi 13 will feature a battery of 5000mAh (exact capacity of 4,930mAh). The handset will be equipped with support for 33W fast charging.

The Redmi 13, as revealed through FCC listing, will ship with Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0. It will offer Bluetooth 5.3 support. There have been reports that the Redmi 13 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. Also, the smartphone’s codename is reportedly moon and is said to launch as POCO M6 in some markets including India.

The Redmi 13 is yet to clear the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) certification. However, the Indian variant of the device has already appeared on the IMEI database. So, we expect it to launch in the Indian market as well.
