Redmi 13 Acquires IMDA, EEC Certifications; Could Debut Soon

Xiaomi’s Redmi appears to be preparing to launch the Redmi 13. The upcoming smartphone earlier appeared on the FCC certification website. Now, we have spotted the Redmi 13 on the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) and EEC certification databases, which hints at an imminent launch.

These databases showed the upcoming Redmi 13 with model number 2404ARN45A. This seems to be the device’s variant for Latin American markets. Apart from that, these listings reveal nothing about the upcoming handset.

However, the Redmi 13 recently acquired FCC certification, revealing that it would be equipped with a battery of 5000mAh (exact capacity of 4,930mAh). It will feature support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with HyperOS 1.0, based on Android 14. It will feature support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Recently, a report surfaced on the web claiming that the upcoming Redmi 13 will sport a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The handset reportedly has the codename Moon and is said to launch in the Indian market as well. It will also debut as the POCO M6 in some markets, including India.

We expect to learn more about the device in the coming weeks through certifications and benchmarks. The company is yet to announce the Redmi 13 launch date. However, we can expect it to launch in the coming weeks.
