The digital rights for the premiere of Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram have been bought by Netflix, and it will release the movie after 60 days of its theatrical release, as per the deal. That means the movie may come out on the OTT platform in March of this year. In the meantime, viewers can subscribe to Netflix to watch some terrific South India’s content-driven cinema from the comfort of their homes.

Venkata Ramana (Mahesh) loses his mother’s love and affection in childhood. His mother (Ramya Krishnan) marries someone else and moves away from him while his father (Jayram) is put in jail. Ramana gets a call from his mother when she becomes a minister. His grandfather has him sign a paper stating that he is not interested in any of her assets or money. Should Ramana sign it? His mother left him, but why? What is the wish of his grandfather upon him? In the end, will the mother and son be reunited? The answers to these queries shape the rest of the story.
