
Google will launch the Pixel 7 series on October 6. The company has confirmed the launch of two flagship phones, namely the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Ahead of the launch, Google has confirmed some key specifications and features of its upcoming Pixel phones. The new Pixel devices will be powered by a Google Tensor G2 SoC. The new performance unit will be standard across the Pixel 7 lineup.

Google Pixel 7 Geekbench
The Google Pixel 7 will be the most affordable of the two Pixel phones launching on October 6. It has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of the launch. The Pixel 7 has the codename panther. Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 7 series will draw power from the Tensor G2 SoC. The listing reveals that the Tensor G2 will be an octa-core SoC. It will have two cores clocked at 2.85GHz and two cores clocked at 2.35GHz. The four efficiency cores will be clocked at 1.8GHz. The processor is also paired with a Mali-G710 GPU.
