iQOO is soon expected to introduce the iQOO Z9 and before this happens, we have some new details, regarding the device. Tipster Digital Chat station has tipped the display specifications of the upcoming device on Weibo, the Chinese social networking platform.
The iQOO Z9 is expected to feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The iQOO Z series smartphones have usually come with an LCD screen (except for the iQOO Z7 series smartphones). Therefore, this launch will be quite interesting and could help the brand attract more people to the upcoming midrange offering.
For those who don’t know, the Z9 moniker was confirmed through the Bluetooth SIG listing obtained by the device with the model number I2302. The Bluetooth SIG listing obtained by the device confirmed support for Bluetooth 5.3. A recent leak suggests that iQOO will equip the smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC.
Recent leaks also suggest that the primary emphasis of the upcoming device will be battery life. It is said that the iQOO Z9 (and other future phones) could pack a bigger battery, exceeding the 5,000mAh capacity. For those who don’t know, the renders of the iQOO Z9 were leaked recently and hint at a gradient finish for the back panel. It is also suggested that the phone will support OIS.
