The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is now official. The company has launched a new Nord series device in the UK and Europe. Along with the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2T, the company also announced the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and Nord Buds, both of which were launched in India last month.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is an incremental upgrade over the last year’s mid-range OnePlus Nord 2. The device comes with a new chipset, an improved design, and a minor upgrade in the fast charging department. The device is now powered by the Dimensity 1300 SoC and it comes with a rectangular camera. Let’s take a look at the phone in detail incusing the price, specifications and availability.

The OnePlus Nord 2T starts at £369 (~Rs 35,700) for the 8GB+128GB and the 12GB+256GB model costs £469 (~Rs 45,400). The phone is now available for pre-ordew in the UK and will start shipping later this week. The phone will be available in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog colour options.

The OnePlus Nord 2T comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The phone does come with support for HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Widevine L1 support, like the Nord 2. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is an upgrade over the Dimensity 1200-Max on the Nord 2. In the camera department, the Nord 2T features a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor(f/1.8) and optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens(f/2.25) with 120° FoV, and a 2MP mono lens(f/2.2). On the front, the phone comes with a 32MP Sony IMX615 snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. The OnePlus Nord 2T comes with a 4,500mAh battery and it supports 80W SUPERVOOC charge, which is an upgrade from the 65W fast charging on the Nord 2. In terms of software, the handset runs on OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.

Other notable features of the device include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 4×4 MIMO, dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for NavIC. The device also comes with an alert slider, which the most recent OnePlus phones do not offer. The phone measures 159.1 x 73.2 x 8.2mm and weighs 190 grams.
