The upcoming POCO M6 Pro 5G has been making rounds of the rumour mill for quite some time and as we are just a day away from the official launch, it has surfaced once more in a new leak. The smartphone has now made an appearance in a hands-on video ahead of the release. It shows the phone’s back panel design and colour variants corroborating claims in the past.

POCO M6 Pro 5G Back Panel Design Revealed

The alleged POCO M6 Pro 5G hands-on video leak has been shared by Pricebaba. The video in question seems to be shot in a mobile shop and shows POCO M6 Pro 5G dummy units. It is a 1-minute long video which gives us plenty of time to look at the phone’s design.

The first thing that you will notice right off the bat is that the POCO M6 Pro 5G has a reflective back panel. This will surely add a premium look and feel to the upcoming smartphone. On the top, one can see a dual camera setup along with an LED flash. The camera module design has a POCO branding which we have seen the company do in the past as well.

The hands-on video suggests POCO M6 Pro 5G will arrive in Black and Sky Blue colour options. The front side of the dummy units has some specifications and features written on it but unfortunately, we could not make sense of it because of the way the video has been shot. However, the report says users will get a punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is said to have narrow bezels around the edges and a slightly thin chin.

POCO M6 Pro 5G Specifications (Expected)

The POCO M6 Pro was recently confirmed to arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 4nm processor. It is officially teased to score more than 437,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark test. This is the same chipset that we saw on the Redmi 12 5G launched earlier this week. There are speculations that POCO’s offering is simply a rebranded Redmi 12 5G.

The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.79-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to have multiple configuration options featuring up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage. The dual rear camera setup could have a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is expected to be a 5MP sensor. The battery capacity is said to be 5,000mAh and could offer 18W fast charging support. The POCO M6 Pro 5G is scheduled to launch on August 5 i.e. tomorrow.
