Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China and the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. The company is expected to launch more Redmi smartphones under the Note 11 series in the coming days. One of the devices expected to launch later this year is the Note 11S. Xiaomi has not confirmed the launch timeline of the Note 11S at the time of writing this. However, the rumour mill claims that the Redmi smartphone will launch in February. While we wait for the official details, the Note 11S is listed on the FCC certification website. Redmi Note 11S launch seems imminent. The budget smartphone from the Xiaomi sub-brand is listed on the FCC website. The listing reveals that the Redmi smartphone, which has the model numbers 2201117TY and 2201117SY, runs MIUI 13. This means that it will have Android 12 out of the box. It also supports WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n. The phone will also come in three storage options – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.

The device has visited several other certification websites. It was listed on the EEC certification website. The listing included the device’s several variants for various regions. It was also spotted on the NBTC certification website and the BIS website, with the latter including the India variant (model number 2201117SI).

As per rumours, the Note 11S is currently under internal testing in various markets, including some Asian markets like Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. There is no word on the India launch date of the device. However, we can expect the phone to launch during the first half of the year, if not during the first quarter.

Some details of the phone have also been tipped. For starters, the device is rumoured to feature a 108MP triple-camera setup with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. It will have a 13MP front camera sensor. Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch the phone with a MediaTek processor under the hood. It will sport a high refresh rate panel. However, it is unknown if the phone will have an AMOLED or LCD panel. More details of the phone should surface in the coming days.
