Xiaomi to Stop Selling Mi 11 Ultra in India After Flagship Stayed Out of Stock For Months

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was launched in April in India.

Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra flagship earlier this year in India. The smartphone came with the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The USP of the device, however, was its camera setup. The Mi 11 Ultra came with a 50MP 1/1.12-inch sensor and two 48MP camera sensors. Launched at Rs 69,999, the Mi 11 Ultra offered excellent value for money. Within a few months of its launch, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is being discontinued in India.

According to an India Today report, Xiaomi has discontinued the flagship smartphone in India. The company has reportedly sold all possible stock of the device, which was imported from China. Even the listing of the Mi 11 Ultra was taken down from Xiaomi India’s website. There is no official word on whether the Mi 11 Ultra will make a comeback to India. India Today claims that it won’t happen and Xiaomi will instead launch a new flagship in 2022. The company had focused extensively on launching multiple smartphones between the price tag of Rs 15,000 and Rs 40,000 in India. The Mi 11 Lite 5G was Xiaomi’s most recent 5G smartphone in India. To recall, the Mi 11 Ultra came in a single 12GB + 256GB storage option. It was priced at Rs 69,999.
