Motorola is rumoured to launch a new premium smartphone in India and other markets. The company might launch the Moto Edge 30 later this year. The device will sit below the Edge 30 Pro, which is already available for purchase in India with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under Rs 50,000. The upcoming Edge 30 will also feature a Snapdragon SoC. The company has not yet announced the launch date of the device yet. However, we can expect it to launch soon.

Meanwhile, tipster Yogesh Brar has listed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Moto Edge 30 specifications, features and other details leaked online.

Moto Edge 30 Specifications

Motorola will debut the Moto Edge 30 soon in select markets. The smartphone is expected to launch in India as the Moto Edge 20 successor. The exact launch date remains unknown but tipster Brar has listed down the device’s key specs.

Brar claims that the phone will draw power from a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, which is likely to come with some performance improvements over the currently available Snapdragon 778G SoC. Qualcomm is yet to confirm the existence of this new chip.

In addition to this, Brar claims that the Edge 30 will come with a 6.55-inch POLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Notably, the phone will offer a 144Hz refresh rate support, similar to the more premium Edge 30 Pro.

The device will come with 6GB and 8GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. It will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera sensor and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The phone will also feature a 2MP depth sensor. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, the camera setup is the same as the Edge 30 Pro.

For selfies, there will be a 32MP front camera. The phone will pack a small 4,020 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The tipster further notes that the phone will run Android 12 out of the box. It will have a layer of MyUX on top of Android.
