The Moto Edge 50 Fusion could be company’s second handset under the Edge 50 series.
The smartphone will boot the latest version of Android, that is Android 14.
Moto is all set to launch the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone on April 3 in India. Ahead of the Edge 50 Pro India launch, another Edge 50 series handset – the Moto Edge 50 Fusion has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database. The Geekbench listing reveals that the upcoming Edge 50 Fusion will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion Geekbench listing reveals that the handset will come pre-loaded with Android 14. The handset scored 913 points in the single core round of the Geekbench 6.2 benchmark test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, it managed to grab 2629 points. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion Geekbench benchmark listing reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with 4 + 4 core configuration, of which four performance cores are clocked at 2.21GHz, and the remaining four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz. The listing further reveals the device’s code name, that is cusco. This implies that the upcoming Edge series smartphone will be sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion Geekbench listing also reveals the presence of 8GB of RAM. As per the listing, the handset will come pre-loaded with latest version of Android, that is Android 14. However, we can expect the company to ship it with HelloUI which offers several nifty features such as Moto Secure, Moto Connect, Moto Unplugged, and more.
Earlier, Moto Edge 50 Fusion’s specifications were tipped by Evan Blass. As per Mr Blass, the Edge 50 Fusion will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is tipped to feature a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera. The smartphone will reportedly be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit with 68W fast charging support.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion will reportedly feature IP68 rating making it dust and water resistant. The smartphone is said to retail in three colour options – Peacock Green, Ballad Blue, and Tidal Teal.
