Moto Edge X30 launch date remains unknown. Teaser posts by official executives suggest that the Motorola flagship’s launch is imminent. It could well be the first smartphone to launch with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is the successor of the Snapdragon 888.

The Weibo post by Jin confirms that the new phone he mentioned is the Moto Edge X30. Motorola had previously teased that the Edge X-series will feature the new Snapdragon flagship processor. Therefore, it is safe to say that the device could launch very soon, with the confirmation possibly at the Snapdragon Summit on November 30.

The GM also confirmed some of the key features of the device. It will have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back. It has a “powerful core” that offers “great performance”, Jin claimed. In addition to these, the Lenovo China GM also confirmed that that the phone will run My UI 3.0 out of the box.

The device’s other specs have leaked in the past. It is said to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone’s front camera is said to house a 60MP camera sensor inside the hole-punch cutout. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup with two 50MP sensors and a 2MP tertiary lens. The device is likely to come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage in China. Also packed inside the phone is a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
