Motorola launched the G30 4G smartphone earlier this year. The company launched its budget smartphone with a 90Hz display and a Snapdragon 662 SoC at a price tag of Rs 10,990. It looks like we might see the launch of its successor model very soon. A new Motorola G-series smartphone has visited a couple of certification websites. This device, which has the model number XT2173-2, is the Motorola Moto G31. The moniker of the smartphone was confirmed via the NBTC listing. It has also visited the WiFi Alliance certification website, confirming other details of the device. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Moto G31 specifications and other details revealed via the certification websites ahead of its launch.
Motorola Moto G31 NBTC, Wi-Fi Alliance listing
Motorola could launch the Moto G31 very soon. Ahead of the launch, the phone is listed on a couple of certification websites. The NBTC listing confirms the moniker and the model number of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. The device has the model number XT2173-2. It has also cleared the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing of the Motorola G31 reveals that the phone runs Android 11 out of the box. Motorola phones typically run stock Android and we can expect the same from the Moto G31. The WiFi Alliance listing also reveals that the phone will support 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz WiFi.
Prior to these two listings, the phone was also spotted on Russia’s EEC website, which only revealed the model number of the upcoming Moto device. Unfortunately, this is all we know about the Moto G31 as these certification websites do not reveal any further details of the device.
Motorola is yet to confirm the official launch date of the device. We can expect it to launch in the coming weeks as it has cleared multiple certifications already. The device is likely to launch in India as well.
