Motorola might launch a new foldable phone soon. The company has launched quite a few iterations of its Razr series foldable phones in India. The upcoming Motorola foldable phone will be a part of the company’s Razr clamshell-style foldable series. Motorola has not confirmed any details about the launch of the foldable phone. Meanwhile, MySmartPrice has learnt some key details about the Galaxy. Z Flip 4 and OPPO Find N2 Flip rival from the house of Motorola. Our sources have informed us that the upcoming 2023 Motorola Razr will have a Plus in its moniker. Yes, the device will be called the Motorola Razr+.
Our industry sources also revealed the model number of the device. Let’s take a look at all the key details about the Motorola Razr+ known so far ahead of the launch.
Motorola Razr+ (2023) Launch: What You Need to Know
The Motorola Razr+ 2023 will take on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip once it goes official later this year. The foldable phone will get a “Plus” branding for the first time in the lineup’s history. Our sources further revealed that the foldable phone from Motorola has the model number XT2321.
In addition to this, we can confirm that the phone will support 30W wired fast charging. The foldable phone has a 2850mAh rated battery capacity as well.
Some details about the upcoming Motorola phone have leaked in the past. Based on a recently leaked design render, the upcoming Razr series foldable phone will get a bigger cover display. Last year’s model already features a 2.7-inch cover display. That being said, it is smaller than the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s 3.26-inch cover screen. While the screen dimensions of the Razr+ are unknown, it is certainly expected to sport a bigger cover display than the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Maybe the bigger outer display does help justify the “Plus” branding at the end.
A live image of the phone was also leaked, which showed the phone in its magenta colour scheme. The top half of the foldable phone is covered almost completely by the cover screen and has a dual-camera setup above it. There is also an LED flash module next to the camera sensors.
In addition to this, another leaked render suggested that the phone will have an under-screen front camera sensor. The renders shared by The Tech Outlook revealed that the bezels around the display are fairly thin and that there is no notch or cutout for the front camera. This might also make a lot of sense as the cover screen is big enough to be used as a viewfinder for clicking selfies using the rear camera. The camera specs are unfortunately under wraps at the moment.
Other details about the Razr+, such as its processor, foldable display size, etc., are not confirmed either. However, based on the details leaked so far, it does look quite promising on paper. What are your thoughts about the upcoming foldable phone from Motorola? Let us know in the comments below.
