Nokia has launched its new budget smartphone, the Nokia C31 in India today. The Nokia C31 is the successor of the previously launched C21 Plus. The smartphone was launched globally back in September 2022. The C31 has launched in India in two storage configurations.

The phone comes with budget specifications and sports a polycarbonate back. It has a Unisoc processor under the hood. HMD Global, Nokia’s parent company, has launched the C31 with a 6.7-inch HD display, three-day battery life with AI-powered battery saving features, Android 12, triple rear and selfie cameras powered by Google, and other features. Nokia C31 Price in India, Sale Date

The Nokia C31, launched in India, comes in two storage variants. The base variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is priced at Rs 9,999. There is also a 4GB + 64GB variant, which is priced at Rs 10,999. The Nokia C31 comes in three colours- Charcoal, Mint and Cyan.

The company has not revealed the sale date of the C31 but it will be available on the Nokia website and across other major retail outlets in the country. It will be soon available on major e-commerce platforms.

Nokia C31 Specifications

The C31 sports a 6.745-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch at the top of the display.

The phone features a 5MP front camera and a triple-camera setup on the back. The rear camera setup includes a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera app from Google offers various modes such as Portrait mode, HDR, Night mode, Storage smarts, etc. There is an LED flash along with the camera sensors on the rear panel.

Under the hood, the C31 has a Unisoc processor however the exact details about the same have not been revealed yet. The SoC (System-on-Chip) is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device also offers storage expansion via a microSD card slot. The phone comes with a 5,050mAh battery that is claimed to last three days on a single charge. Nokia says that it is using AI-powered technology to save the battery life of the device.

The Nokia C31 runs Android 12 out of the box. Users will get to see a few pre-installed apps including Spotify and GoPro Quik.

The phone can be unlocked using the face unlock or fingerprint. It has an IP52 protection rating and comes with a one-year replacement guarantee promise.

Other connectivity features include Bluetooth support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, a Micro USB port, GPS, AGPS, Galileo, and LTE.
