Nokia is prepping up to introduce a new smartphone in the G-series dubbed as the Nokia G50 5G. The device is subject to multiple leaks from the last few weeks. The Nokia G50 5G had appeared on the retailer website last month. The retailer listing had revealed the possible specifications of the device ahead of launch. Now, in a recent development, the Nokia G50 5G has appeared on the web again courtesy of Nokia Mobile France’s official Instagram account. The Nokia Mobile France Instagram channel had posted a short promo clip related to the Nokia G50 5G. The promo video posted by Nokia itself reveals the design and specifications of the Nokia G50 5G ahead of launch. The promo video however is taken down by Nokia. However, folks over at Nokiapoweruserhave managed to grab the video and screenshot of the Nokia France’s Instagram post just before it was taken down.
Nokia G50 Design Leaked Ahead Of Launch
If we have a look at the short video clip, we can see that the Nokia G50 will feature a triple-camera setup and a water-drop notch display. The phone will sport a 48MP primary main camera. The device will offer longer battery life and 5G connectivity support. As seen in the video, the Nokia G50 5G will come in two colour options – Sand and Blue. The smartphone is also speculated to launch in the Forest Black colour option, considering that the same colour option was revealed by a listing in Australia. The past reports suggest us that the device will feature a 6.38-inch display. Powering the phone under the hood might be Snapdragon an octa-core 480 5G SoC. The device might pack up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
As mentioned, the Nokia G50 will feature a 48MP triple-camera setup which will be accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash. On the software front, we can expect the phone to run Android 11 out of the box. The other details of the handset such as selfie camera information and battery capacity remain to be unknown. As for the pricing, the Nokia G50 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version might retail for around £207.56 (Rs 18,048). As of now, the launch date of the device isn’t revealed by Nokia yet. However, considering that the brand had posted a short video regarding the device, the Nokia G50 5G official launch should not be far away.
