Nothing Ear (Stick) Comes With Half In-Ear Design, Revealed in Image Ahead of Launch

Nothing is all set to launch the Nothing Ear (Stick) TWS on October 26. The upcoming Nothing Ear (Stick) is the brand’s second audio product. To those unaware, Nothing launched the Nothing Ear (1) back in June last year. Ahead of the launch, Nothing has officially revealed the design of the Nothing Ear (Stick) earbuds. Nothing took it to social media channels to post a teaser for the Ear (Stick) launch which showcases the earbuds as well. The render revealed by the company matched exactly with the render that was leaked earlier.

The teaser reveals that the Nothing Ear (Stick) earbuds will feature a half-in-ear design which is a change compared to last year’s Ear (1). To those unaware, the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds feature an in-ear design, similar to Apple’s AirPods Pro. Let us take a look at the upcoming Nothing Ear (Stick) and what we know about it.

Nothing Ear (Stick) Earbuds Will Weigh Just 4.4grams

Nothing says that it tested over 100 pairs of earbuds for enhanced comfort. As per the social media post, the Nothing Ear (Stick) earbuds will weigh just 4.4grams. The brand also claims that Nothing Ear (Stick) earbuds are designed keeping comfort in mind and can be worn all day long.

Nothing Ear (Stick) has already been spotted on the FCC certification website. The certification listing revealed that the Ear (Stick) case will be equipped with a 350mAh battery unit. Whereas, each earbud will pack a 36mAh battery unit.

The upcoming Nothing Ear (Stick) was spotted on Amazon back in July which revealed that it will cost €99 (around Rs 8,200). The e-commerce listing also confirmed the IP54 rating and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity on the upcoming Nothing Ear (Stick).

Nothing Hikes Ear (1) Prices Ahead of Ear (Stick) Launch

Ahead of the Nothing Ear (Stick) launch, the company founder – Carl Pei has announced that Nothing Ear (1) will now cost $149 (approx Rs 12,300). To those unaware, Nothing Ear (1) was launched at a price of $99 (approx Rs 8,200) back in July 2021. The retail price of $149 will be applicable starting October 26. Nothing hasn’t revealed anything about the Nothing Ear (1) India price, so we can expect that the Nothing Ear (1) will continue selling at a price of Rs 5,999.

Nothing says that it had only 3 engineers when Nothing Ear (1) was in the development phase and now the company has 185 engineers working on the portfolio of products and so the company managed to roll out about 15 firmware updates for Ear (1). In the last year, the brand has managed to sell about 600K (6,00,000) units of the Nothing Ear (1) TWS. Nothing will continue selling the Nothing Ear (1) even after the launch of the Ear (Stick).
