Nothing Phone (1) A063 Spotted on NBTC Listing Ahead of July 12 Global Unveil

The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to come with a transparent design language.

Nothing is all set to launch its first smartphone – the Nothing Phone (1) on July 12. Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the Phone (1) on the NBTC certification website. The NBTC database listing reveals the Nothing handset will carry model number A063.

The Nothing Phone (1) with model number A063 was previously spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) database earlier, but it didn’t reveal the moniker of the device. Let us take a closer look at the Nothing Phone (1) NBTC listing and what we know so far about the Phone (1).

The latest database listing for the device doesn’t reveal apart from confirming that A063 is indeed the Nothing Phone (1). Apart from it, the database listing doesn’t reveal anything about Nothing’s first smartphone.

Previously, Nothing had confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Rumours suggest that the Phone (1) will come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 made its debut recently with the Oppo Reno8 Pro.

Apart from it, Nothing also confirmed the Nothing OS, which will be based on Google’s mobile operating system – Android. Nothing says that company will not develop the utility apps such as Calendar, Clock, Calculator and instead it will rely on Google’s suite of apps from the utility apps. The company is taking this approach in order to ship the handset with as less bloatware as possible.

The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to come with a transparent design language, which we first saw with the Nothing Ear (1). With the Nothing Phone (1), Carl Pei – OnePlus founder, wants to deliver the most compelling alternative to Apple iPhones. The Nothing Phone (1) will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in India.
