Nothing, back in October, announced the latest iteration of its mobile UI – the NothingOS 2.5, based on the latest version of Android, that is Android 14. The company also kicked off the NothingOS 2.5 Beta program for the Nothing Phone (2) with the help of Nothing Community testers.

After seeding multiple NothingOS 2.5 Open Beta updates, Nothing has now started rolling out Nothing Phone (2) Nothing OS 2.5 Stable version. Nothing took to social media channels and Nothing Community to make a formal announcement regarding the stable update roll out. The company also revealed that it plans to release Nothing Phone (1) NothingOS 2.5 Open Beta by the end of the year. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Nothing Phone (2) NothingOS 2.5: Changelogs and Features

NothingOS 2.5 brings several improvements and enhancements to the Glyph interface. With the NothingOS 2.5, the brand is extending the Glyph interface support to the Google Calendar.

Also, users can now directly open the Glyph timer from the lockscreen without unlocking the handset. The company has also added a new Glyph animation for indicating NFC usage.

Nothing Phone (2) NothingOS 2.5 also brings with it several customization options. The brand has redesigned the Customization Page and has merged the Home Screen and Lock Screen customization in one place. Apart from it, NothingOS 2.5 allows users to choose monochrome colour theme under the customization. The update also brings new glass filter for wallpapers.

NothingOS 2.5 also brings with it a few new widgets including a pedometer widget, a media player widget, and a screen time widget. The brand has also added widgets support for the lock screen.
