OnePlus earlier this week confirmed a launch event in India. The company teased the launch of two smartphones in India on April 28. Today, OnePlus confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 10R and the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India. Both devices are yet to be unveiled globally. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has teased some key specs of the upcoming devices.
The teaser microsite on Amazon India confirms that the 10R will come with support for 150W fast charging out of the box. In addition to this, the teaser also confirms that the 10R is essentially the OnePlus Ace launching in China later this month. OnePlus 10R India Launch Confirmed
OnePlus has confirmed that the 10R will launch in India on April 28. The Amazon microsite also confirms some key specs of the phone. The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will come with 150W fast charging support. Considering the device is a rebadged Realme GT Neo 3, it will pack a 4,500 mAh battery. It is unknown if the 5,000 mAh battery variant with 80W fast charging will make its way to India.
Furthermore, the microsite reveals that the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back and a hole-punch display at the front. The hole punch is placed at the top centre of the display, unlike previous OnePlus phones. The device is rumoured to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. We can expect the phone to arrive in 8GB/ 12GB RAM options with 128GB/ 256GB storage.
The camera setup will include a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. There is no alert slider in the 10R.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G India Launch
Alongside the 10R, the company will also launch the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India. The listing on Amazon confirms that the phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. We had previously exclusively confirmed that the CE 2 Lite 5G will launch in Black and Jade Fog colour options.
The phone is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 695 SoC with up to 8GB RAM. It will sport a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display and support a 90Hz refresh rate. The rear camera is expected to feature a 64MP main camera and two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera sensor. Both smartphones will run Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 out of the box.
