OnePlus is expected to unveil its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12 later this year. The device is set to arrive as a successor to the OnePlus 11. The CAD-based renders of the OnePlus 12 were leaked last month. The leaked renders confirmed that the handset will feature a triple-camera setup accompanied by LED flash. It also confirmed that the smartphone will launch in Black colour with a sandstone finish.

Now, ahead of the launch, MySmartPrice in collaboration with noted leakster OnLeaks, exclusively reveal the high-res OnePlus 12 renders. It is worth noting that these new set of renders are based on the real-life pictures of the pre-production unit, and they are different from what those that were leaked earlier.

OnePlus 12 New Renders Leaked

If we have a look at the renders, we can see that the OnePlus 12 will feature a triple-camera setup at the back accompanied by an LED flash. The previously-leaked renders revealed that the smartphone will feature a chromed-out stainless steel bump just below the two camera modules. However, in the new leaked renders, it appears to be gone. Additionally, we can see a mysterious component besides the triple-camera housing which has been added during the prototyping process. The Hasselblad logo beside the camera module is now replaced with the initial “H”. Furthermore, the rest of the design aspects of the device appear to be the same as those of what we saw in the earlier render.

The smartphone will have a punch-hole cutout at the centre of the display which will accommodate the selfie camera. The power and alert slider will be located on the right edge of the device, whereas the volume keys will be on the left side.

As far as the specifications of the OnePlus 12 go, it is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is rumoured to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is likely to launch in October. Furthermore, the handset is tipped to pack up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is rumoured to feature a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope lens.

The device is likely to feature a 32MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery is reported to power the handset, which could offer 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. Currently, there are no details available regarding the launch date of the device. The previous leak, courtesy of tipster Max Jambor, suggests that the smartphone will debut in China in December later this year and in the global market including India in January 2024.
