The OnePlus 12R is one of the most talked about smartphones recently. Touted to be launched as Ace 3 in China on January 4, the OnePlus 12R will launch globally and in India on January 24. The company launched the OnePlus 12 in China earlier this month and will launch it in India and global markets on January 24. The OnePlus 12R will make its debut at the same event. Noted tipster Max Jambor has revealed the complete specifications and the colour options of the OnePlus 12R ahead of the launch. Now, the brand has officially confirmed the colours and teased the design of the device. Let’s take a look at what the upcoming premium mid-range smartphone looks like.
OnePlus 12R Launch Timeline and Leaked Colours
As we can see in the tweet above, the brand has confirmed the Iron Gray and Cool Blue colours as leaked by Jambor earlier. It seems that the global variant will only get the Blue and Black colour unlike the Ace 3, which also gets the Mingsha Gold variant. According to the OnePlus Club post above, the Mingsha Gold variant of the OnePlus 12R will launch later in 2024.
While Jambor only showed a part of the back panel to reveal colours, the official launch poster has revealed the design of the handset. According to the teaser image, the new premium mid-range OenPlus 12 series smartphone will flaunt the same design as the flagship OnePlus 12.
We can see the circular triple camera module melding into the chassis, notification slider, and physical buttons on the device. The blue variant seems to have a glass back panel with a matte finish, whereas the black model appears to have the signature sandstone finish underneath the smooth glass back panel.
The poster also confirms that the OnePlus 12R will launch on January 23. The event will carry the tagline of Smooth Beyond Belief and will start at 7.30pm IST. However, there is no word on the pricing of the handset yet. We will get to know more closer to the launch date.
